We’ll read a story, sing and rhyme together, do a fingerplay, and have fun while learning and playing. We’ll end with time for caregivers to socialize and babies to play & interact with each other.5/12/2025
Using air-dry clay, shimmering jewels, and an assortment of other craft supplies, participants will design and create their own magical dragon eggs.5/13/2025

The Madrigals are an auditioned choir, and along with being the top group at Grand Ledge High School, they are considered one of the finest vocal ensembles in the area. Students excel at Solo & Ensemble and Choral Festivals, State Honors Choirs, All-State Choir, and the Michigan Youth Arts Festival. Join us for a varied program from classical to contemporary selections. The Madrigals are directed by Sheri Peterson, the 2023 Michigan School Vocal Music Association Teacher of the Year.Tickets are available through gloperahouse.com or at the door, opening at 6:45. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students.
This performance is sponsored by the Friends of the Opera House and the Harlan and Betty MacDowell Concert Foundation. Concert proceeds benefit the historic Grand Ledge Opera House, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. The Opera House appreciates the community's continued support.

Kids can trim their bikes and ride in the Wacousta Memorial Day Community Parade on Saturday May 24! We’ll provide red, white and blue patriotic trims (while supplies last) for families to decorate kid’s bikes, wagons, strollers or scooters—and a spot to ride in the parade as we honor and remember with gratitude all those who serve and served our country. Please Note: Decorating 10-10:45am, parade starts promptly at 11 am. 5/29/2025
