Celebrate National S'mores Day the Girl Scout way!
Did you know the first s'mores recipe was published in a Girl Scout guidebook from 1927? That's right, making s'mores around a campfire is a time-honored Girl Scout tradition.💚🍫🔥

Come visit on Saturday, August 10, between 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM, at our Lansing Regional Center to explore the outdoors while roasting a toasty marshmallow over the fire!

We will have target sports, such as archery and slingshot, SWAPs to make, button making with Capital Area District Library, and a slime bar. Plus, MSU Science Outreach from the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams will be there, and kittens from Saved by Zade Kitten Rescue will be there, too.

Back by popular demand, we will have a fun DJ dance party playing in foam with Jump N' Slide, so bring a towel!

This is a free event for girls of all ages and their families, so invite a few friends along to have fun at this extravaganza together!
