Join us for a crafting program to explore and create with colorful Perler Beads! Choose from many patterns or create your own. We’ll use string or magnets to turn your creations into decorations that you can hang or give as presents. Ages 6+.12/5/2024
Ages 8+. Share the aloha spirit of the ukulele together as an ohana (family in Hawaiian). Taught by Michigan’s Ukulele Ambassador, Ben Hassenger, and sponsored by the Music is the Foundation non-profit; you will learn a brief history of the instrument and all the basics you need to get started playing right away, including: how to hold the ukulele, tuning the ukulele, one- two- and three- finger chords, transitions between chords, strumming patterns, and easy songs. The Annual Night Lights Christmas Parade is a spectacular night time parade packed full of lots of lights and music! It starts at the Grand Ledge Fire Department at 500 North Clinton Street and then makes its way straight down Bridge Street to Scott Street.
Santa will make his appearance at the end of the parade, trading in his red sleigh for a red fire truck.

- Get Warm by the Firepit in the Plaza
- 6:45 PM Tree Lighting in Bridge Street Plaza
- 7:00 PM Christmas Parade starts at the fire station and heads south on Bridge Street
- After the parade, visit Santa in Bridge Street Plaza!

- 4:00 - 7:00 PM Xavier DeGroat Autism Foundation Grilling Fundraiser in Bridge Street Plaza - Meals $10 - proceed support GLHS Graduate Xavier DeGroat and his foundation

Through January 1 - Bring a Coat/Take a Coat is to insure all Comets have a warm and healthy winter. Donate clean jackets, boots and gloves for infants - adults for men and women. Stop by and take whatever your family needs to stay warm this holiday. Happy Holidays!12/7/2024

Join us for a Christmas Candlelight Concert featuring the "Legends of the Opera House". The "Legends of the Opera House" included David Songer, members of Singer's on the Grand and Scott Smith on the Lansing Barton Theater Organ. Together they have performed nearly 100 concerts at the Opera House. You won't want to miss this exciting and inspirational holiday candlelight concert. 12/10/2024
