Ages 8+. Share the aloha spirit of the ukulele together as an ohana (family in Hawaiian). Taught by Michigan’s Ukulele Ambassador, Ben Hassenger, and sponsored by the Music is the Foundation non-profit; you will learn a brief history of the instrument and all the basics you need to get started playing right away, including: how to hold the ukulele, tuning the ukulele, one- two- and three- finger chords, transitions between chords, strumming patterns, and easy songs.
