| 3/13/2026 | Kick off St. Patrick’s Day by joining the City of Grand Ledge as we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with their 22nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Celebration on Friday March 13th and Saturday March 14th. Beginning as a neighborhood party and parade, this celebration has grown into a city-wide event and is enjoyed by thousands of people flocking to Grand Ledge to partake in Irish traditions. It begins on Friday, March 13th at the Grand Ledge Opera House at 121 S. Bridge Street with the Pub Runners Band www.pubrunners.net . Enjoy an evening of singing and dancing as they perform the traditional Irish favorites. Doors open at 6:30PM and Irish entertainment starts at 7:30PM. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Your admission ticket for Friday includes an Irish beverage. There are a limited number of tickets so make sure to get yours today at www.gloperahouse.com . On Saturday all the excitement begins at 11:00AM in Grand Ledge! From 11:00AM until 4:00PM the American Legion Post #48 located at 731 N. Clinton Street will be hosting their Annual Irish Stew Cook-off. Admission is free, so stop by and vote for the “Best in Town”. The Grand Ledge Opera House will open its doors starting at 11:00AM on Saturday for lunch. Stop by and enjoy a cup of potato soup and a Guinness beer before the parade. Donations accepted for admission. At 2:00PM the 22nd annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade kicks off down Bridge Street. Enjoy watching the Glen Erin Pipe Band, Irish Dancers, floats and much more as they march across the Grand River in the heart of Grand Ledge. After the parade the Opera House will continue to serve Irish fare and beverages along with entertainment including the Glen Erin Pipe Band and the Hubbardston and McCartney Irish Dancers.
