A great place for farmers and artisans to sell their products directly to the community as well as food truck vendors who can provide tasty local foods.
The market is intended to foster local economic development and encourage business in Grand Ledge. The markets purpose is to also bring local produce and other locally produced goods to the people of Grand Ledge. Items include fresh local produce, homemade baked goods, handcrafted products, plants, honey, maple syrup, smoked fish, flowers, and other locally produced goods.
Throughout the summer, we will also have entertainment on the Rotary Club stage during the market and food trucks.

- Location: Downtown Wacousta (typically near 9180 W Herbison Rd, Eagle, MI).
- Date: Saturday, June 6, 2026. from 3-7 pm
- Activities: Live music, over 40 local vendors, artisan stalls, food trucks, and kids' activities often including face painting and character visits.
- Purpose: Proceeds from the block party benefit the Wacousta Cooperative Preschool's scholarship fund, which helps local families with tuition assistance.
- New Additions: A kids' market for young entrepreneurs to sell their creations.
Join us for these networking events at 9:00 AM on the second Wednesday of each month in the City Hall Community Room across from the Chamber office.

This annual family-friendly community event will include various activities throughout the day, including a craft show and kids' activities, and night-time fireworks!
For 70 years locally, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. Big Brothers Big Sisters facilitates and supports meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and youth (“Littles”). Big Brothers Big Sisters Michigan Capital Region serves children in Clinton, Eaton, Ingham, Ionia and Shiawassee counties. They develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.
This event will be pivotal in raising the funds and local awareness necessary to continue serving local youth. When you sponsor, donate and/or participate, you directly impact the lives of local children in our community.
