Library Land 3/1 - 3/31 “Library Land” Game—A Journey through our Children’s Library, for children ages 0-K and 1-6th grade. Sing silly songs, find books, tell a story-- Can you do them all? Earn an Instant Prizes for playing each time you visit GLADL, and books as prizes for completing the game! One game card per person please. Turn in all Game cards by March 31, 2022. Taught by Michigan’s Ukulele Ambassador, Ben Hassenger, and sponsored by the Music is the Foundation non-profit; you will learn a brief history of the instrument and all the basics you need to get started playing right away, including: • How to hold the ukulele • Tuning the ukulele • One-, two-, and three- finger chords • Transitions between chords • Strumming patterns • Easy, fun songs Loaner ukuleles will be provided as well as a three-ring binder for you to keep your lesson materials and song sheets organized.
