Location
Setting: In-Person Our Savior Lutheran Church 7910 E. St. Joseph Highway Lansing, MI 48917
In keeping with Delta Community Choir’s mission of “Building Community Through Song,” there will be no admission fee for the concert. Instead, freewill monetary donations will be accepted to support Mitten Misfits Farm Sanctuary, which provides a forever home to nearly100 rescued farm animals. Founded by Victoria Worthy, the sanctuary cares for horses, goats, sheep, donkeys, pigs, cows, and more, while providing education and outreach to the community. More than 80 volunteers help ensure that the animals live out the rest of their lives treated with respect and kindness.
“Our choir is excited to highlight the work being done by Mitten Misfits Farm Sanctuary,” said Zach. “So much holiday imagery includes farm animals at the manger and in the fields on Christmas night. This is the perfect collaboration for our holiday concert. We welcome everyone to celebrate the season and help our friends at Mitten Misfits.”
