Supporting businesses and the community in working together to make Grand Ledge
a great place to live and do business
April is here! Flowers are starting to bloom, residents are enjoying long walks, bike rides and even a few boaters and kayakers have graced the Grand River already this season.
At the chamber we are still moving forward on several community events this year. However, we will continue to adhere to all city, county and state health guidelines to keep our community safe.
Our mission is to make Grand Ledge a great place to live and do business and that means keeping our community safe in every way that we can.
The Chamber Annual Dinner is Thursday May 6th from 5:30-7:30pm at Fitzgerald Park.
The grab and go picnic style meal will be free for our members. Food, drinks and dessert will be provided by Brick haven Brewery, Log Jam Restaurant and Flour Child Bakery.
Awards will be given out and entertainment will be provided at the park.
Invitations were mailed to members.
We are planning to start the 2021 season of Music in the Park on Thursday July 1st.
This season will hopefully have nine free concerts.
So far we have the following bands booked:
July 1st- Grand Ledge Bums
July 15th- Starfarm
August 12th- The Frog King
August 26th- Global Village
We are hoping to have a one day celebration June 19th.
We anticipate being able to host a parade, music and fireworks.
As health guidelines are updated, we will plan more of this event.
We have new T-shirts you can purchase to help support local businesses! For each item purchased, $8 goes to help our businesses.
If you have an event that you would like to advertise on our website, be sure and fill out the SUBMIT YOUR EVENT. This way we can include it on the community calendar.
Being a Chamber member adds prestige to your business, solidifies your standing in the business community, and sets your business above the rest. It also shows your community support and pride!
A membership can help your business gain visibility and connect with potential customers, build a network, and reach out through unique marketing opportunities.
Members are included in the Chamber's online Member Directory where they can showcase their business' products and services to the community.
Members can also advertise in this weekly eNewsletter and on the Chamber's website for greater visibility. If you are interested, please contact Amy Hoyes
Did you know that even if you don't own a local business that you can still show your support for Grand Ledge by helping the Chamber build a stronger community? The chamber hosts several large festivals and your "friendship" helps make those events happen!
