'80's band Starfarm will be headlining this Thursday! Bring your chairs and join us starting at 7 pm. See what Nick Cypher Farm Bureau Insurance is raffling off and be sure to get the kids to turn in their designs for their T-shirt with Eaton Federal Bank under their tent! Please adhere to all parking rules at Jaycee Park. The Library Parking lot has lots of spaces and is just a short walk to the park.
There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony this Thursday August 8th at 4 p.m. for the new Performance Shelter that the community, partners and funders help make happen! Speakers include Mayor Thom Sowle, Director of Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs Alison Watson, CEO of Oakwood Homes Patrick Hamill and Tim Walling of the Grand Ledge Rotary. In addition to the speakers, the Lansing Symphony Orchestra will hold a "pop up concert" with an ensemble that is sure to get your feet tapping and hands clapping!
Later that evening, the 80s band from East Lansing, Starfarm will be performing at our regular Music in the Park venue at 7 p.m.
Join us along the river for a wonderful afternoon and evening of music!

Our last Movie in the Ball Field is this Friday, August 9! Join us for "Incredibles 2" in the baseball field near Island Park. Gates open at 8pm. Movie will start at dusk. Popcorn, snowcones, and cotton candy will be available and games from our sponsors!
We are about halfway through our Market on the Grand Season, but still have an array of vendors there each week. Make plans to see our regulars and some new faces each week at Jaycee Park from 9am-1pm on Saturdays.
