CARDS Charity Fun Fly & Unlimited RC Air Show September 17, 2022
The Capital Area Radio Drone Squadron (CARDS) invites all to our air field in Grand Ledge to watch our Second Annual air show to support our two charities, Ele’s Place and the Alzheimer’s Association. Come out and watch remote control planes twist and turn in the air. Some featured pilots will put on aerobatic shows. You can expect to see a variety of models, from large to small. The show is free. Donations for our charities are welcome.

CARDS, with a 50 plus year history, is a group of aviation hobby enthusiasts who are part of the local Lansing community. As a charter club within the Academy of Model Aeronautics we have a profound local presence. We share our hobby by involving the community and are open to new members who wish to do likewise.  Spectators are always welcome at our field, however this event offers a special opportunity to see many airplanes similar to full size air shows. We welcome visitors of all ages who have an interest in aviation and or may wish to get involved more directly with our hobby. We look forward to seeing you!

CARDS selected these two organizations as our charities as there are some personal connections by our members. Ele’s Place is a great home-grown organization that help children and teens manage grief. The Alzheimer’s Association helps support research and other ways to improve the lives of those that suffer from this illness.

Should you wish to learn more about flying remote control air craft feel free to ask a member while at our field or visit our website at www.cardsrc.com
