Event Description
The Eaton Regional Education Service Agency (RESA) is offering a FREE Youth Mental Health First Aid Training course. If you work or interact with youth (teacher, parent, pastor, coach, community member, etc.), this course is for you! Youth Mental Health First Aid will teach you to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among children and adolescents. Please Note: Participants must be 18 years of age or older. Participants must attend both nights. There is approximately 2 hours of online pre-work that must be completed PRIOR to attending the in-person sessions at GLADL. Individuals who do not complete the pre-work cannot attend the in-person training. Participants will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course. Certificates are good for 3 years. Adult.
