It is now November and the leaves are falling and cooler temperatures are upon us!
We had a very successful Fall Fest, Beer Fest and Bridge Street Trick or Treat last month and we are in full holiday season planning.
The Christmas Parade is a month away along with a full month of activities around Grand Ledge.

![]() Do you think our Bridge Street Light Poles need to be jazzed up this holiday season? We thought it would be fun to have a contest and adorn these posts with some holiday cheer!

Each pole costs $50 and winners will receive Chamber Bucks to use at our member businesses!
![]() This Friday November 5th, several of our chamber member businesses will be at the College and Career Fair at Grand Ledge High School as part of a hiring event for high school students.
From 10am-1pm high school juniors and seniors will be able to talk to potential employers about their job openings and positions. Many of these opportunities can generate a career path!

![]() ![]() We will host Coffee and Conversation on Wednesday November 10th at 9am in the City Hall Community Room across from the chamber office.
Come meet fellow chamber members and learn about programs and events we offer with our community partners.
Coffee and Bagels will be served.
Starting November 15th through December 15th if you sign up to be a "Friend of the Chamber" you will automatically be entered in a drawing to win a gift basket from Pam's Pantry in Grand Ledge.

![]() Starting on Shop Small Saturday November 27th , you can read the pages of a winter book on the store fronts of businesses on South Bridge Street.
The Grand Ledge Area District Library is working on the map and more details!
So keep an eye out for these pages on 14 different businesses on Bridge Street at the end of the month.

![]() The Night Lights Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting is Friday December 3rd starting at 7pm.
The American Legion Post 48 has donated the tree for Bridge Street Plaza. The lights will be turned on prior to the start of the parade. To register to be in the parade, please click here. ![]() ![]()

![]() We are once again partnering with area assisted living, nursing homes and programs for elderly shut ins to provide porch dropped Christmas gifts.
If you would like to adopt a senior citizen and purchase some Christmas gifts to put a smile on someone's face, please click here!
Deadline to sign up is November 15th.
![]() We will be putting change buckets at various locations throughout town to help collect money for Grand Ledge Emergency Assistance Program (GLEAP)
