We hope LOVE is in the air for everyone this month! May you find joy and laughter in something this entire cold, snowy, winter month!
Hopeful is still the word we are using this year. We hope to have as many events as possible.
So far we have CANCELED the St. Patrick's Day Parade due to gathering numbers executive orders. We RELOCATED our Annual Dinner to Fitzgerald Park as we are hopeful by the spring, the outdoor numbers will be above 25.
Below is a list of what we have planned, but we will continue to be flexible as the year progresses.
Thank you to all the businesses who continue to join the chamber, keep up their memberships, and those who have already committed to sponsoring our events no matter what we are able to do this year.
We truly appreciate your belief in all we try to do to make Grand Ledge a great place to live and do business!

4th Fridays Grand Ledge
Every Fourth Friday of the month let's try and think Grand Ledge!
We invite, urge and beckon you to shop, and utilize all Grand Ledge Chamber of Commerce businesses and services.
Many of our local companies are still struggling to stay alive and we want to do whatever we can to help them in their endeavors.
For more information about this monthly event please click here!
The St. Patrick's Day Parade that was scheduled for Saturday March 13th is CANCELED this year due to executive orders of outdoor gathering numbers.
Hopefully the luck of the Irish will be back in 2021.
Our intent is to host a Chamber Annual Dinner on Thursday May 6th at Fitzgerald Park. The grab and go picnic style meal will be free for our members. Food and drinks will be provided by Brick haven Brewery, Log Jam Restaurant and Flour Child Bakery. Awards will be given out. We will keep the community updated as it progresses. Invitations will be mailed out in March.
We are working on a new T-shirt design for this year. If you are wishing to purchase one of the "We are Grand Ledge" shirts we produced to help small businesses, be sure and purchase one by FRIDAY February 12th.
We will be taking the link down and putting another one up.
The new design will also be to support Grand Ledge Small Businesses with 100% of the proceeds going to them in the form of $300 Grants.
We helped seven businesses in 2020 and are hopeful to continue helping more in 2021.
Some of our local partners are joining Grand Ledge High School in conducting Mock Interviews for students on February 17th-19th via zoom.
Thank you to the City of Grand Ledge, Hedlund Plumbing, Flagstar Bank LaFontaine Automotive Group and Ledges Chiropractic Center for volunteering your time to virtually interview students.
Our monthly Career Curiosity Webinars sponsored by Consumers Energy continue this month with Doty Insurance, Shared Resources, Haddad Insurance and Mayor Thom Sowle.
The Consumers Energy Chamber Bucks Program has sold 550 gift cards to help support 17 of our local chamber member businesses. This has generated $13,000 for our town.
Thank you to everyone who purchased them and try to use them up by April 2021 so we can get all the checks out to businesses.
We recently completed some Newcomer Guides for Grand Ledge!
Thank you to all the area businesses who participated in it. Copies are available at the businesses listed as well as coordinating a porch pick up with the chamber.
If you want more information about these guides, contact amy@grandledgechamber.com We are going to start something new next month!
Something random to show the fun side of our business owners!
We will be contacting our members to see who is comfortable with us coming in to their place of business to record a video of random questions.
Our desire is to get to know you all better so the local community can get to know you as well!
We will be filming on Thursdays and posting the videos every Tuesday.
Stay Tuned...... We have revamped our website, so if you have an event that you would like to advertise on our website, be sure and fill out the SUBMIT YOUR EVENT. This way we can include it on the community calendar.
