Advancing the economic, industrial, professional, educational, cultural, and civic welfare of the Grand Ledge area

The Grand Ledge Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors would like to thank all of its members for their continued support of the Chamber with both their membership dues and additional sponsorships. It especially appreciates the generosity of its 2017 Chamber Event Sponsors!

During a hot and wet 2017, the Chamber and its sponsors hosted several community events and activities throughout the year.

Grand Ledge Farmers Market
May through October (26 Saturdays)
This new Chamber activity thrived in its new location at Jaycee Park and featured over 40 different vendors selling produce, baked goods, crafts, goodies, and treats with a high of 20 vendors on one particular Saturday.

Music in the Park
June through August (13 Thursday nights)
The community got to enjoy awesome free music along the river front at its new venue at Jaycee Park. There was an amazing turnout with attendance each week estimated between 400 to 1,000+ people.

Yankee Doodle Days
June 15-18
This is a premium summer fun festival in the mid-Michigan area! It offered live music, beer tent, parade, kid's day events after the parade, craft show with 125+ crafters, and a Fireworks Extravaganza recognized throughout mid-Michigan as one of the best... although this year's fireworks had to be rescheduled in August due to an unscheduled monsoon rain storm. The show was enjoyed by thousands of spectators from the bridge and throughout downtown Grand Ledge.

Movies in the Park
Fridays in August
Although there were some cold Friday nights, the community got to enjoy two out of the four weeks with movies, popcorn, and some great free family entertainment.

$1,000 Golf Scramble
August 11
This annual golf outing was held at Centennial Acres Golf Course in Sunfield, and there were about 18 teams who enjoyed the event.

Color Cruise & Island Festival
October 13-15
While the event was completely washed out two of the three days, Friday was a gorgeous day enjoyed by many Grand Ledge elementary school children.

Night Lights Christmas Parade
December 2
This year's spectacular night time parade was packed full of lots of lights and music including 60 parade entries, an all time record!

Holiday Craft Show
December 9
In conjunction with the Grand Ledge Farmers' Market, this show offered the community a chance to support more than 50 local crafters and vendors as they finished up their Christmas shopping.

Chamber Mix & Mingle Events

Held throughout the year

These events provide a great opportunity for Chamber members to visit with Board members and network with community residents.

The Chamber Board would like to thank its members and sponsors again for their continued support, and we wish you a prosperous 2018!
