The Grand Ledge Area Histrocial Society is excited to announce information for this year's Holiday Traditions Tour! This is a fundraising event for the Grand Ledge Area Historical Society and is our biggest fundraiser. This helps to preserve the rich heritage of our great community!
The tour will be Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. There will be decorated tables and trees, along with a Holiday Marketplace at the Opera House. All houses and historic buildings will be open to walk through and view.
Tickets will be $12 in advance available at Ace Hardware, Ledge Craft Lane, the Opera House and the Salvage Yard. $15 at the door the day of the event. Opera House/Holiday Marketplace only $5. Children ages 5-12 are $3 and children 4 & under are free. We encourage you to bring the whole family!
There are some new, great additions this year! At the Opera House, the decorated tables and trees will be on the main floor. In the lower level will be the HOLIDAY MARKETPLACE! Shop a variety of items for sale that will include vintage, handmade, upcycled, re-purposed, holiday greens and much more! On the upper floor there will a Victorian display, additional trees and the HUGE Blake Room table will be decorated and set with 16 place settings!
At the 433 W. Front St. home, along with the house, there is a Garden Market Shed "Creative Flip & Rave" that will be open to purchase handmade items.
The 1800 Historic Granary at 9110 Hartel Rd. also will be open to purchase vintage, handmade and decorative items.
There are some great stops on the tour this year and it's sure to be lots of fun!
